The LSC are advocating the Framework for Excellence as a comprehensive performance management framework in the future. Other approaches already exist within colleges and others may develop in the future. Implementation costs, cultural changes and stakeholder adoption are all factors that will influence the success of introducing and adoption of new performance management approaches.

In this seminar we examine the implementation implications and the options for delivering a cost effective performance management framework. The topics covered are:

1. Ensuring the implementation of a performance management framework that all college stakeholders will embrace
2. Minimizing the implementation and administration costs so that a change in performance management indicators and framework is not a burden
3. Integrating the performance management framework into the daily work cycle and not making it once a annual exercise
